TCTS Walks for Autism Speaks

A team of employees, friends and family members from Trinitas recently participated in a walk to raise money for autism research. Held at Nomahegan Park in Cranford, NJ, the team had 16 actual walkers and quite a few "virtual walkers," and the Trinitas team raised more than $2,000 that will go toward research. SCRIBBLES TO SCRIPT
A comprehensive handwriting program offered in the fall, spring and summer. Call 908-276-3599 ext. 12 for more information, including dates and times.

What Is Scribbles To Script?
Do you have concerns about your child’s handwriting? Would you like to give your child an opportunity to improve his/her handwriting, while participating in fun, therapeutic activities?

If so, enroll your child in the "Scribbles to Script" handwriting program.

One-hour classes are held twice weekly. Children are grouped according to grade and/or skill level from preschool (prewriting) through elementary grades. Class size is limited to 6 children to ensure individualized attention.

How Does It Work?
The Handwriting Without Tears program, by Jan Olsen, is used to teach children proper letter formation. Programs are individualized to each students needs. Multi-sensory activities help to reinforce learning and make writing fun!

What Does It Cost?
Payment is by cash or check. Please call for program fee schedule. A 50% deposit is due upon registration. The final payment is due the first day of classes.

To purchase a handwriting book for home practice, please add $6.00 to the registration fee.

How To Register Your Child
Step 1. Choose Your Child's Level
Let us know the appropriate class for your child:

Preschool
This class focuses on the development of prewriting skills, such as pencil grasp, coloring skills, imitation and copying of lines and shapes, and basic introduction to letters.

Kindergarten
The goal of this class is to review letter recognition and to learn proper formation of capital manuscript letters.

First Grade
This class reviews capital letters and focuses on the proper formation of lower case manuscript letters.

Second Grade
Reviews proper letter formation and focuses on letter placement, spacing and legibility.

Cursive
Learn and refine proper formation of cursive letters and words.
